Come out and cheer on some of the best bartenders in the St. Louis area and support a great cause at the same time at the 2012 Don Q/United States Bartender's Guild (USBG) St. Louis Mix-Off on Sun., March 4, from 2 to 5pm at Blood & Sand.

The winner of the contest will be going to NYC in May to compete against other USBG chapter winners at the Manhattan Cocktail Classic. This year, the event is open to the public, and a donation of $25 at the door gets you in, with proceeds benefiting the USBG as well as Stray Rescue of St. Louis.

Sample the competing cocktails and nosh on light apps courtesy of the Blood & Sand kitchen. The panel of judges this year includes Charles Joly from The Drawing Room in Chicago, one of the most revered bartenders in the business.

Reservations aren't required, but RSVPs to usbgstl@gmail.com are appreciated for planning purposes.
