When Chris and Megan Frank purchased their mid-century Ladue abode, they clearly had a vision. Built by St. Louisan William Bernoudy (an early apprentice of Frank Lloyd Wright), the Franks wanted the home to retain "the clean lines of the original Bernoundy architecture," but set out to achieve a "sleek, modern, New York penthouse" style with their remodel.

Click here to take a gander at the before-and-after shots of this impeccable kitchen remodel, and you'll surely agree: mission accomplished.
