With more than 150 million blogs in existence, and thousands and thousands of those focusing on the world of design or food, it can be overwhelming and difficult to find blogs that speak to you.

Read on for a taste of some of the blogs I turn to for a daily dose of inspiration.

decor8 was my gateway drug for blogs. I had yet to dabble in the world of design blogs until a kitchen designer friend sent me a link to this impeccably executed site. Inviting, informative and inspiring, decor8 is the brainchild of Holly Becker, an American expat and design consultant living in Germany.

Featuring a daily dose of interior design, must-have products, recipes and much, much more, Design*Sponge is a like several blogs wrapped into one. Averaging six to ten posts a day, Design*Sponge is a perfect place to peruse photos of fabulous kitchens, experiment with unique recipes and research gadgets for your home and kitchen.

Kitchenisms is a delightful and consistently inspiring collection of kitchen and food-related tidbits that blogger Ele Busing discovers in her life and on the web. From recipes, to kitchen gadgets to kitchen design, Busing is a keen curator who offers an endearing dose of whimsy with each blog she composes.
