Private Events With Pi and Second Pi Truck
This month, Pi Pizzeria, runner-up in the Feast 50 Awards for the pizza category in St. Louis, is launching a second food truck so that the St. Louis favorite can continue to serve hungry lunch crowds and also expand its private events and catering offerings. The truck serves Pi’s signature deep-dish cornmeal crust or thin-crust pizzas, as well as stuffed Pi sticks and fresh salads. The truck can host the party at a spot of your choosing or come to your home – perfect for birthdays, rehearsal dinners, wedding “fourth meals,” corporate functions, company holiday parties, and bar and bat mitzvahs.
Aside from on-site catering with the two Pi Trucks, you can get a jump on personal or company holiday-party planning at any of Pi’s four St. Louis-area locations that have space for events. According to the pizzeria, “hosting an event with Pi is as easy as 3.14,” with both semiprivate dining for groups of 20 or more as well as group dining for up to 125 guests. Food and beverage packages are reasonably priced and can be custom-designed to fit the needs of groups both large and small, including:
- Rehearsal Dinners
- Baby Showers
- Wedding Showers
- Business Meetings
- Happy Hours
New Happy Hour
This summer, Pi rolled out a new and improved happy hour – now all snacks and appetizers are half price from 3 to 6pm Monday through Friday. Appetizer favorites include pork-and-beef meatballs, dry-rubbed and baked Blazed Wings with yogurt-cucumber dressing, Pi Squares and new blistered shishito peppers. Plus, rotating chef’s-picks pizzas are on special, including Smashed Scallion with white sauce, mozzarella, smashed scallions, goat cheese and Mike’s Hot Honey or Eggplant Parm with tomato sauce, mozzarella, basil-baked eggplant, marinated tomatoes, pickled red onions and crisp Parmesan.
The same drink specials continue, including $3.14 pints and feature beers, as well as a house sangria for $4.95 and a Pi-Sqaured cocktail for $5.95. Happy hour runs at all Pi locations except its carry-out Chesterfield outpost and is available at the bar or outside on the patio.
